We were lucky enough to have Dallas Denny, our keynote speaker for Transgender Awareness Week, join us on the radio!  We heard a little bit from her about her identity, discussed different identities across the spectrum, and some of the issues transgender people face on a daily basis.  Our biggest topic was transgender representation in the media.  All of the DJ’s agreed that there need to be one, more of it, and two, more accurate representations!  Hopefully in the future we will see some improvement.  With activist DJ’s like DJ Dictionary, DJ Dino, DJ Lambda, DJ Shane, and Dallas Denny, we can be sure to see some change in the future!  Listener’s you are also the change.  Thanks for supporting us every week by listening and being awesome humans!
