Proud Tigers Mentorship Program

The Proud Tigers Mentorship Program (PTMP) is an inclusive mentoring program providing support, guidance, and resources to LGBTQ+ students at Mizzou.

The aim of PTMP is to develop a positive view of self, while also preparing students for academic, social, and wellness experiences on and off campus. We are determined to establish a place for growth, exploration, and empowerment.

Are you a Mizzou Tiger looking for a mentor for the upcoming school year? PTMP is the place for you! PTMP Mentee applications can be found here.

Applications for PTMP mentees will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, August 30th. Applicants will be contacted in regards to their application status and steps to take moving forward with their role in the program.

Proud Tigers Mentors will be expected to:

  • attend the mentor retreat on August 31st
  • attend the mentor-mentee mashup on September 4th
  • attend bi-weekly mentor meetings
  • co-plan and attend monthly events
  • meet with 3-5 meentees for 60 minutes per week

A stipend is included with this position.
