Clothing Closet

Clothing Closet: Located in Rm. 2204. Just as we hosted last year, we will have a room dedicated to hosting the clothing closet! This program, run through our community partner The Center Project, is a trans-inclusive space for any individual to access clothing that fits their needs.  Feel free to bring clothes to donate, or come by and see what they have to offer!

Self-Care/Quiet Space

We have a space dedicated as a self-care or quiet space, for those who may need to be somewhere with limited visual or audio stimulation. This is located in the Wellness Resource Center, on the ground floor of the MU Student Center.

Closing Keynote

Kylar W. Broadus is the senior public policy counsel at the National LGBTQ Task Force and the director of the organization’s Transgender Civil Rights Project. In 2012, Broadus made history as the first openly transgender person to testify before the U.S. Senate, speaking in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). An attorney and former professor of business law, Broadus is a sought-after public speaker with an expertise in policy, transgender equality, and racial justice.
