Suicide Prevention and Mental Health

College can be difficult on a person mentally and emotionally no matter what identities you hold. Sometimes, when times are particularly difficult, you may be in need of some assistance. If you are in trouble, there is help available that wants to help you.

Below are a list of various mental health resources for anyone who may need them.

The MU Counseling Center also offers free, anonymous screenings to assist in determining if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional. You can find the screenings here.

WARMline – 1-800-374-2138 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays and 3 – 9 p.m. weekends and holidays; WARMline is operated by mental health consumers for mental health consumers. The WARMline offers words of encouragement and compassion to mental health consumers in central Missouri.
